There's a potential near-term risk emerging for Nvidia (NVDA). This risk is tied to Ethereum (ETH-USD) and is likely to materialize in a few months at best.

... The Ethereum 2.0 Merge, set for early 2022, will create a sudden destruction of demand for GPUs which will likely be felt by Nvidia.

This is both a real risk for Nvidia’s fundamentals and also a potential bearish thesis which will gain strength into December 2021 / early 2022, as the event draws nearer.
